What is the Vortex™ Avanté™ package? (Features, pros, cons and more)

Please note: As of the 29th of August, 2024, Avante™ model spas and swim spas had a name change removing the word Avante from the model names. At the same time the standard model Vortex Spas™, without the Avante™ upgrades, are obsolete and can no longer be ordered.

Is the Vortex™ Avante spa and swim spa model still available?

As of August 29, 2024, the Vortex Avante spa and swim spa models are no longer available under that specific name. The company has made changes to their product lineup:

• The Avante™ model spas and swim spas have undergone a name change. The word "Avante" has been removed from their model names.
• The standard Vortex Spas™ models, which did not include the Avante™ upgrades, have been discontinued. These can no longer be ordered.

In summary, while the features and upgrades associated with the former Avante line are still be available, they are now marketed under different names. Can you still get the standard model Vortex™ Spa or Swim Spa?

No, as of August 29, 2024, the standard model Vortex™ Spas are no longer available for purchase. These base models have been discontinued and can no longer be ordered.

Our current Vortex Spas™ range focuses on premium models, offering advanced features and superior performance. While these spas were previously known as the Avante™ line, Vortex Spas™ has simplified its naming convention by removing the "Avante" designation.

The Vortex Avanté™ includes features designed for added comfort, superior luxury and increased performance – including energy efficiency. The Avanté model brings together a collection of Vortex™ spas’ most popular features which, when purchased together, offers significant savings.

What is included in the Avanté™ spa package?

Depending on the spa model, the Avanté™ upgrade package includes but is not limited to:

• Hydroflow™ Stainless Steel Jets. Hydroflow™ jets use bearing-less technology to make them the most advanced long-lasting spa jet on the market.

• Purezone™ UV-C automatic water purifier. The UV-C technology found in the Purezone™ system is not new. You will find it purifying drinking water and public swimming pools all around the world. However, Vortex Spas™ have pioneered its use in spa pools. UV sterilization kills 99.9% of waterborne viruses and bacteria, including the hard-to-reach Giardia and Cryptosporidium viruses.

• Thermolock™ Dual layer insulation. Dual-layer insulation provides the ultimate sound deadening and heat retention. The dual layer compounds the insulation effect as it traps the warm air, using the same principle as double glazing on windows.

• Hydroglow™ jets and topside control lighting. Bring your spa to life with backlit jets and topside controls

• Hydroglow™ Perimeter and cabinet lighting. The additional lighting to the water edge and functional outside lighting are included with the Perimeter and cabinet lighting package. All lighting is customisable to suit your mood.

• Hydroglow™ Backlit drink holders. Backlit drink holders are functional and beautiful. Illuminated drinks bring a special feel to night-time spas

• Hydroglow™ backlit laminar jets. They offer another level of aesthetic beauty. Working independently from the hydrotherapy jets they turn your spa into the perfect garden water feature.

• Twin laminar jets. Laminar jets create perfect streams of backlit water giving a gentle visual display. The jets operate independently of the hydrotherapy jets, so they can turn your spa into an impressive light display in your backyard.

• Permaframe™ Timber-free construction. Permaframe™ construction is a timber-free framing system that is impervious to rot, mildew or vermin damage. Produced using recycled, high-impact, injection molded plastic, it is designed to last indefinitely, hence the lifetime warranty.

Note: This upgrade is not available for Vortex Swim spas. Vortex Swim Spas use Hotdipped Galvanised frames instead.

How much will the upgrade cost?

The upgrade price will depend on the spa pool or swim spa you purchase. The price of the upgrade will change based on the size of the spa model, as a larger spa will include more jets, insulation and lighting, and this will cost a little more.

Standard Vortex spa v Vortex Avante upgrade?

All our Vortex spas can be purchased with or without the Avante package. As a spa pool is an investment you want to make sure you are getting the best value for money. As with all investments, it’s always best to consider whether spending a little bit extra will transform your experience and be worthwhile in the long run.

Can I purchase a Vortex spa without the Avante package?

You can of course purchase any Vortex spa pool without the Avante package but because of the popularity, the spas in our warehouses are already kitted out with the full package of upgrades. If you choose a spa without the Avante package, your spa may take longer to arrive as it may need to be custom built and back ordered from one of our factories.

Summary:

Overall, we believe the Vortex Avante pack offers excellent value for money. Yes, you will need to pay more upfront than a spa without this upgrade. But, to buy the features separately would cost a lot more. Also, remember that a spa is a long-term investment. The extra enjoyment, pleasure and peace of mind you’ll get from the additional features and better quality fittings will pay off in the long-run.
